Senior Vice President, Resilience Strategy (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a forward-thinking individual for the role of Senior Vice President, Resilience Strategy within our Chief Administrative Office (CAO) First Line of Defense (1LOD).

This position entails the documentation of standardized resilience controls, collaboration with various stakeholders to promote the implementation and acceptance of these controls, and the establishment of governance and oversight within the Enterprise Resilience Office.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Document and standardize enterprise resilience controls in accordance with Enterprise Resilience Office (ERO) policies and standards, including the evaluation of existing controls implemented across the organization.

2. Design and articulate governance processes and internal ERO controls to ensure the ongoing effectiveness and oversight of standardized resilience controls.


3. Engage with stakeholders to disseminate controls and governance processes, incorporating feedback from diverse groups, including ERO, Business Resilience Leads (BRLs), and other business units.

4. Facilitate the integration and adoption of standard controls into business resilience assessments across the organization.


5. Develop reporting mechanisms and implement continuous monitoring of control effectiveness and remediation efforts for all standardized resilience controls.

6. Conduct periodic reviews of standard resilience controls, ensuring timely and effective testing for design, operational effectiveness, and sustainability in alignment with corporate policies.


7. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for businesses in the adoption and testing of standard resilience controls, providing necessary support to validate findings and ensure the successful implementation of action plans.


8. Manage change effectively for standard resilience controls to maintain alignment with the ERO framework and evolving enterprise risk policies.


9. Collaborate with other CAO functions and the Enterprise Chief Controls Office (ECCO) to support the organization’s strategies for standardized control management.


10. Work with ERO to identify and implement enhancements to streamline and automate the execution, testing, and monitoring of resilience controls across the organization.


11. Build strong relationships with Risk Management, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure a shared understanding of enterprise controls and support the completion of risk-related deliverables.

Qualifications:


- Expertise in Operational Risk Management processes and frameworks, including risk and control assessments, internal controls development, and remediation strategies.


- Experience in enterprise resilience functions, such as business continuity, disaster recovery, incident management, and technology resilience.


- Proven ability to collaborate and engage with professionalism and credibility.


- Strong communication and influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholder perspectives.


- Proficient in developing and delivering presentations, with experience leading workshops and engaging senior audiences.


- Experience in coordinating or conducting internal audits.


- Preferred experience in business analysis within complex ecosystems and managing enterprise-wide programs.


- Transformation and process change experience is advantageous.


- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience is preferred.


- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
