We're seeking a future team member for the role of Platforms Product Owner to join our Product Management team.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Demonstrate a higher level of experience and expertise in product management. Responsible for strategic product planning, managing multiple product backlogs, and mentoring junior Product Owners.
  • Product Execution: Capable of drafting specifications for minor features and contributing significantly to specifications for major features. Able to negotiate the implementation of current work, making informed trade-off decisions to launch products with high quality. Recognizes when to escalate issues to management. Collaborates with teams to make recommendations that deliver maximum value to end users as quickly as possible. Efficiently assesses the quality and readiness of a release.
  • Customer Insights: Formulates the right business questions to be asked and knows how to track down data to inform decisions. Utilizes low fidelity tools to outline a design approach and collaborates with teams to translate them into higher fidelity representations of the feature. Maintains regular contact with users of the product and employs multiple sources to prioritize roadmap decisions.
  • Product Strategy: Understands business outcomes and how product decisions impact trade-offs. Responsible for crafting a near-term product roadmap (in partnership with management) and effectively communicates this to junior team members.
  • Primary responsibilities include: Full ownership of the product backlog and near-term roadmap, ensuring that it is properly refined, prioritized, and groomed. Agile Ceremony Ownership across POD and includes tracking velocity and identifying efficiencies for teams. Ownership of user stories, refinement process, and Stakeholder Management (ongoing collaboration and updates). Ownership of technical design decisions, performing product performance monitoring, tracking, and analyzing key product metrics.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Years of product experience preferred.
  • Years in a financial industry preferred.
