We are looking for a prospective team member for the position of Senior Vice President, AML and Financial Crime Compliance Advisory within BNY Mellon Investment Management.

In this capacity, you will contribute significantly in the following areas:
  • Provide critical oversight and challenge while supporting BNY Mellon's diverse global Investment Management sectors, primarily focusing on Registered Investment Advisors and Asset Managers.
  • Serve as the AML Officer for one or more BNY Mellon Registered Investment Advisors.
  • Engage in cross-regional collaboration with Investment Management business units and risk partners to facilitate transformational projects.
  • Offer guidance and support to Investment Management Money Laundering Reporting Officers regarding relevant regulations, firm policies, and industry best practices concerning AML, KYC, CDD, and related matters.
  • Work closely with Enterprise partners in AML and Financial Crime Compliance concerning regulatory examinations, risk assessments, significant escalations, compliance testing, and internal audit reviews.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders in the business and the Risk and Compliance sectors.
To excel in this role, we seek candidates with the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is essential.
  • A total of 10-12 years of professional experience, with 1-3 years in a management capacity preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or FINRA licenses are advantageous.
