Front Office Coordinator

Overview
The Front Office Coordinator is a vital role at PDS Health, responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from initial contact to treatment completion. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Model company culture, values, and standards in all interactions with patients, guests, and team members.
- Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process by ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring each healthcare provider has a smooth and productive day.
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
- Answer telephones in a timely manner, handling all calls with efficiency and thoroughness.
- Ensure all tasks on the front office checklist are completed daily, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Post payments to patient accounts in accordance with Company policies.
- Subject Matter Expert in practice management system, ensuring patient registration, e-check in, and account information are accurate and up-to-date.
- Be efficient in patient check in, obtaining all necessary consents and promptly notifying the back-office team.
- Confirm all patient appointments in accordance with office confirmation policies or a minimum of 2 days in advance.
- Ensure all patient messages received from the Contact Center are returned and resolved in a timely manner.
- Active participant in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and any other meetings as required.
- Thorough understanding of business imperatives and how the role directly impacts metrics.
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand, making decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework.
- Become knowledgeable and support clinicians on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.
- Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies, addressing others professionally and respectfully.
- Ensure Compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred
- Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, insurance, or business.

- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances.
