Role Purpose:
The Client Service Representative (CSR) collaborates with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) who utilize Fidelity for asset custody. The CSR is an integral part of an operations team that processes forms and works closely with Client Service Managers (CSMs) to meet all service and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve client issues and manage advisor communications
- Support the operations team in processing requests
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain productivity metrics in problem resolution and customer interactions

CSRs are expected to foster a positive workplace culture, emphasizing teamwork and shared success.


Career Advancement:


Fidelity's Custody division categorizes firms into three tiers:

  • Core: Engages with smaller advisory firms
  • Preferred: Works with mid-sized advisory firms
  • Premium: Partners with the largest advisory firms

While some individuals may be hired directly into Client Manager roles, the majority of positions are filled through internal promotions.


Client Manager Progression:
  • Client Manager I: Supports smaller advisory firms
  • Client Manager II: Engages with larger, more complex advisory firms
  • Client Manager III: Partners with premium advisory firms with significant assets

Our focus is on nurturing and promoting internal talent while supplementing expertise through external hiring.
