Advertising Account Representative

Job Summary

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of local clients and agencies, working to achieve established annual sales goals. You will offer zone buying opportunities to small advertisers, allowing them to reach customers in their specific retail trading areas.

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyze market research and develop advertising proposals to support client activities and products.
  • Assist in creating marketing strategies to generate local ad sales revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill client requirements, such as scheduling advertising and monitoring account activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records, and participate in the development of sales forecasts.
  • Complete required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports.
  • Seek out new customers by continuously prospecting and following Company sales strategies and tactics.
  • Analyze confidential information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas, and general correspondence.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regularly attend meetings and events, and be available to work variable schedules and overtime as necessary.

Key Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
