Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Director to join our team at Kairos NW. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our fundraising and marketing efforts to support our mission of providing comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy to achieve our annual goals and objectives.
  • Grant Writing and Management: Research and write grant proposals to secure funding from government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Donor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support for our programs.
  • Marketing and Communications: Develop and implement a marketing plan to promote our services and programs to the community, including social media, email marketing, and print materials.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of development and marketing staff to ensure the successful execution of our fundraising and marketing efforts.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Work closely with our program staff to ensure that our fundraising and marketing efforts are aligned with our program goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in fundraising and marketing, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong strategic planning and project management skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong understanding of fundraising and marketing principles and practices.
