Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our Accounting Department as an Accounting Assistant.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in accounting and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with accounting department functions, including payroll processing and accounts payable.
  • Set up and maintain payroll processing software.
  • Process work records and assist with payroll functions.
  • Prepare and match invoices to requisitions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Perform general office tasks, including answering phones and emails.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for accounting and payroll information.
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with departmental tasks.
Requirements

General bookkeeping experience is required, with the ability to learn all aspects of agency bookkeeping procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, able to work well with multiple personalities, and be willing to learn new skills.
