We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our Accounting Department as an Accounting Assistant.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in accounting and payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with accounting department functions, including payroll processing and accounts payable.
- Set up and maintain payroll processing software.
- Process work records and assist with payroll functions.
- Prepare and match invoices to requisitions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Perform general office tasks, including answering phones and emails.
- Respond to internal and external requests for accounting and payroll information.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with departmental tasks.
General bookkeeping experience is required, with the ability to learn all aspects of agency bookkeeping procedures.
The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, able to work well with multiple personalities, and be willing to learn new skills.
