The Infectious Disease Program of the Public Health Department at Clark County is seeking a skilled Epidemiologist to conduct investigations, surveillance, and prevention of notifiable conditions and other communicable diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct disease investigations, design and implement data collection and analysis methods, and present data to various audiences.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Public Health, experience in epidemiology, and proficiency in data analysis software. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to work in stressful situations, maintain confidentiality, and hold a valid driver's license. This position is represented by Local 335 - LIUNA and offers a hybrid remote work schedule. The salary range is $33.10 - $47.41 per hour.
