About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our vibrant Inpatient Palliative Care team in Vancouver, Washington. As an Advanced Palliative Care Specialist, you will provide expert care to patients and their families, addressing disease prevention and health promotion issues while administering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and address disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care.
  • Work in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, allowing for consultation, collaboration, or referral.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments and ongoing medication management, ordering lab and diagnostic tests when appropriate and interpreting test results.
  • Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong educational background, including a Master's degree in Nursing, and be licensed as an ARNP in the State of Practice. You should also possess valid driver's license with an automobile that is insured to state regulations and is in good running order. Five years' advanced nursing practice is preferred, and an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN) certification is also desirable.

Salary Range:$143,811 - $166,899 per year, depending on experience.
