About the Job

In this role, you'll promote our broad portfolio of products, focusing on disease states, therapeutic areas, and customer needs. You'll generate demand for our products in assigned accounts, develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans, and maintain strong relationships throughout institutions. Your exceptional selling, technical, and relationship-building skills will help you overcome obstacles and cultivate lasting relationships with top priority customers.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Pfizer's product portfolio to health care providers and specialists
  • Educate members of the healthcare community regarding the appropriate use of Pfizer products
  • Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients' experience with Pfizer products and overall quality of patient care delivered
Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
  • Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or minimum of 4 years of previous Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key Oncology thought leaders or high influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations
  • Demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment with previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Oncology sales experience
  • Master's Degree
  • Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree
  • Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to a wide range of customers
  • Demonstrated high degree of business acumen
  • Proficiency using complex digital applications and able to adapt to Pfizer's long-range technology model in bringing relevant Pfizer information to market
Functional / Technical Skills
  • Promote broad portfolio of products; Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products
  • Deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations)
  • Generate demand for Pfizer products in assigned accounts
  • Strategic account selling and management skills. Develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to drive achievement of desired objectives.
Additional Information

This position offers an annual base salary ranging from $96,700 to $217,000, with additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonuses. Comprehensive benefits include a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid vacation, holiday, and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
