Role Summary:
The People Operations Leader is tasked with being a proactive leader, ensuring that Human Resource practices and initiatives resonate with the organization's core mission and values. This role involves collaboration with regional and global HR partners to assess, address, and support strategic HR initiatives. Operating within a matrix structure, this position engages with senior leadership and business partners across all facets of People Strategy, blending functional and strategic responsibilities to support AGS's overarching business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HR Director to comprehend business objectives and implement innovative approaches, policies, and procedures that drive continuous improvement in organizational goals and HR development.
  • Leverage a comprehensive understanding of the employee lifecycle to support the development of integrated solutions reinforced by Employee Experience initiatives.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the HR Director and leadership to translate business strategies into actionable HR plans.
  • Performance Management: Offer guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters, identifying training needs and coordinating relevant development programs.
  • Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive workplace through effective communication and conflict resolution, serving as a resource for employee concerns and managing complex employee relations issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of legal requirements related to employee management, minimizing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiatives: Collaborate with DEI Program Managers to provide leadership with opportunities to enhance DEI efforts through training and succession planning, ensuring equitable organizational policies.
  • HR Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation of HR strategies aligned with business goals, conducting workforce analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Data Analysis: Examine trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions and organizational policies.
  • Drive core Talent Strategy initiatives, including Learning and Development, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; experience within an Allegis operating company or relevant industry experience is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex employee relations issues.
  • Proficient knowledge of various HR disciplines, including compensation, organizational development, diversity and inclusion, and performance management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong conflict resolution, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
  • Capability to envision, develop, and implement strategies to address complex business challenges.
  • Experience managing multiple business units across various locations.
  • Familiarity with international business objectives.
  • SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred.
  • Proficient in software applications such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft HR is highly preferred.
