Culinary Utility Associate

We are seeking dedicated and caring individuals to enhance our culinary operations.

Ensure a hygienic and organized kitchen atmosphere for the cafeteria. Efficiently sanitize all cooking tools, utensils, and equipment. Assist in inventory management by shelving and arranging received food products and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, dining area, and storage spaces.
  • Process deliveries, ensuring proper labeling and dating of items, and manage packaging waste.
  • Regularly restock and oversee the availability of towels and soap dispensers during shifts.
  • Timely cleaning and returning of all kitchen tools and serving items.
  • Set up and manage a 3-compartment sink and dishwashing machine.
  • Perform vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning in high-traffic areas.
  • Monitor and dispose of waste in trash receptacles.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations established by the facility.
  • Support colleagues and supervisors as necessary to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Effective communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Exhibit good personal hygiene, maintain a neat appearance, and adhere to uniform standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, push dish racks, and frequently bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be capable of operating necessary equipment to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Preferred: Experience in culinary roles (e.g., cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitorial services).
