Position Overview: Speech Language Pathologist

Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a vital part of our educational team. This position focuses on delivering speech and language therapy, performing evaluations, and crafting tailored educational plans for students. While experience in an academic environment is advantageous, we welcome applications from Clinical Fellows (CF).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of speech and language capabilities.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment strategies and educational plans.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and school personnel to address student communication requirements.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation of all services rendered.
  • Engage in educational planning meetings and assist in establishing learning objectives for students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred, though not mandatory for CF candidates.
  • Experience in an educational setting is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
