Salary: $170,000 - $240,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits

At Meta, we're developing the next generation of Augmented Reality (AR) systems. As an Opto-Mechanical NPI Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the manufacturability and scalability of our optical modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the manufacturability of opto-mechanical designs and assembly processes for our optical modules.
  • Partner with suppliers to champion manufacturability, scalability, reliability, and cost initiatives during design and development.
  • Ramp and sustain high-volume manufacturing of optical modules.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Opto-mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical or opto-mechanical engineering or an equivalent role developing optical modules or systems.
  • Proficiency with mechanical CAD, tolerance analysis, and data analysis tools like Matlab, Python, or JMP.
