Mechanical Engineer Technician

Become a key member of our advanced development team at BrickRed Systems as a Mechanical Engineer Technician. This role requires a strong technical background and hands-on experience with mechanical and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and electronic hardware assemblies.
- Fabricate components using 3D printing and other additive manufacturing techniques.
- Create and modify CAD designs for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs on complex systems.
- Manage lab inventory and maintain equipment in excellent condition.
- Support server maintenance and computer networking tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience working in data centers or related environments.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair expertise.
- Inventory management skills.
- Forklift certification.
- Proficiency with hand tools, server maintenance, and computer networking.
Essential Skills:
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar laboratory technician role, including:
- Prototyping, electronics assembly, and 3D printing.
- CAD proficiency for design and drafting.
- Familiarity with basic coding, especially in Linux.
