Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to provide strategic financial planning and analytical support to Visa's Global Technology Organization. This role will involve establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and staff, to serve as a primary contact for financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive financial planning and analysis to support operational initiatives.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead the annual operating planning process and conduct monthly reporting analyses for the supported areas.
  • Develop and implement relevant financial metrics to provide insightful analytics to business partners.
  • Utilize available resources and data creatively to conduct thorough analyses.
  • Articulate business implications derived from analyses and contribute innovative solutions to address business challenges.
  • Support various finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and business case development.
  • Collaborate effectively with management across all levels within a matrixed organizational structure.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office a set number of days each week, as determined by leadership and business needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree, or no experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 4+ years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Extensive experience in finance, planning, and analysis with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and process development.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to resolve business issues through structured analyses.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Expertise in modeling techniques and the ability to synthesize multiple data sets for insightful analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Hyperion Essbase, and PowerPoint.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: Flexible based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required (5-10%).
Mental/Physical Requirements: This role will be performed in an office setting, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
