Position Summary
The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems division is recognized for delivering innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technologies, and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and international navies.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide routine technical assistance to engineers regarding standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.
- Conduct electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework, including testing and repairing various electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
- Interpret and work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches.
- Engage in testing, modifying, reworking, repairing, and constructing electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
- Design and/or test prototype assemblies and production units.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements as per State and Federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient information and material flow.

Performance Metrics
- Meet production deadlines.
- Maintain quality of finished products (pass/fail rates).
- Monitor raw material stock levels.
- Achieve compliance outcomes.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Experience handling small, delicate components, utilizing ESD practices.
- Soldering and wire bonding experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in the safe handling of chemicals.
- Familiarity with various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and Labview; experience with MRP is a plus.
- Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

This position necessitates an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance shortly after employment commencement.
