The RFI (RF Integrity) team is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge methodologies to address coupling, spur, and coexistence challenges in highly integrated RF systems through both simulation and laboratory debugging.

The engineering focus encompasses silicon, packaging, modules, PCBs, and various device form factors. Our working methods are continuously evolving, pushing the boundaries of traditional domains. As an RF Integrity Engineer, you will delve into various facets of RF technology and contribute to the advancement of innovation. The team is compact yet covers a vast array of disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 2D/3D electromagnetic simulations for design optimization and coupling reduction for integrated circuits, packages, and circuit boards.

  • Refine electromagnetic modeling and analytical methodologies to ensure precise correlation between simulations and measurements across different levels.
  • Design high-performance RF components, including transmission lines, filters, and matching networks across various technologies.
  • Collaborate with integrated circuit, packaging, and product teams to resolve spur and desense issues in both simulation and laboratory settings.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities in dynamic and complex environments where boundaries are not clearly defined.
- Strong foundation in microwave engineering and proficiency with 2D/3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
- In-depth understanding of the interactions between electromagnetic models and other circuit structures.
- Familiarity with RF impairments at both block and transceiver levels, including amplifiers, filters, and phase-locked loops (PLLs).
- Experience with RF laboratory equipment such as vector network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, real-time oscilloscopes, and probe stations.
- A strong desire to learn new technologies and a willingness to take calculated risks to solve complex problems.
- Solid academic background and knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity issues is advantageous.

Preference for candidates with experience in RF integrated circuit design and simulation workflows. Experience in advanced transceiver design and integration is a plus, along with RF system modeling and link budgeting for transceiver chains.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for career progression as you grow and develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $166,600 and $296,300, with actual base pay depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
