Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing the Patient Access Process components, including scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients and physician office staff to obtain information and schedule appointments for a wide scope of services.
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and financial information to create pre-registration episodes.
  • Verify patients' insurance and source of payment, and determine coordination of benefits for scheduled services.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to best utilize resources and accommodate physician preferences and patient needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years post-high school education and/or training.
  • Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Access Representative.
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) through NAHAM.
