Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities- Interview patients and physician office staff to obtain information and schedule appointments for a wide range of services, including advanced imaging, surgical services, and other medical procedures.
- Verify patient insurance and source of payment, and determine the coordination of benefits for scheduled services.
- Collect and accurately enter patient demographic and financial information into our system.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to best utilize resources and accommodate physician preferences and patient needs.
- Manage physician orders and other clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and availability for clinical staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years post-high school education and/or training or the equivalent.
- Minimum of six months experience as a Patient Access Representative.
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) through NAHAM.
