Position Overview:
The Linen Services Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that the facility and its associated buildings maintain a clean, safe, and appealing environment, adhering to healthcare and regulatory standards.
As a Linen Services Specialist, your duties will include:
- Conducting precise inventory assessments for all linen supplies, assembling linen carts that accurately reflect these counts, and distributing linen to designated areas promptly.
- Weighing all hospital-owned linens, mops, and related items accurately, and recording these weights in a timely manner.
- Responding to linen requests as needed, ensuring timely delivery.
- Operating motor vehicles safely while adhering to the organization's driver safety policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Colorado Driver's License appropriate for the vehicle class.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
The role requires abilities such as: Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, and Walking.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a healthcare setting, where maintaining cleanliness and safety is paramount.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.
