The Staff Physician is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients at Frontera Healthcare Network. As a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, this role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for rural healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Provides clinical services, including examining, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as referring them to specialists as needed.
- Develops and implements treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a physician in the State of Texas.
- Annual continuing medical education as required by Board specialty.
- Must be registered and have current DEA, DPS, and other such certificates to legally operate a practitioner in the State of Texas.
- One (1) year of practice experience as a physician giving direct patient care.
- Spanish speaking and writing skills.
