Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Document Processing Specialist to join our team at STAT Informatic Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of discharged patient medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and scan medical charts in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Verify and index batches of medical records into our computer system.
  • Meet daily production goals and maintain high levels of quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality policies at all times.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer software and office equipment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state information regulations and medical record keeping requirements.
Work Environment

This role is performed in an office setting within a hospital or warehouse environment. You will be required to sit or stand for long periods and use office equipment. You must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to perform the duties of this role.
