  • Implements the technical mailing functions required for defined customer applications, based on the mailing job specifications.
    • Processes and maintains records, statistics, and reports regarding mailing lists, postage costs, merging and batching operations.
      • Reviews and manipulates client data files and information flows of customer / list data for integration to digital print job.
        • Administers controls and documents the activities related to data planning and development and the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to its management, security, maintenance, and utilization.
          • Modifies, converts, and merges documents; organizing and maintaining databases; and sorts, analyze, and processing all incoming / outgoing records, lists and/or addresses.
            • Checks accuracy and relevance of input and output data by visual examination, correcting codes and batching for computer processing.
              • Verifies output against control totals, reviews format and accuracy of printouts and distributes information to appropriate departments.
                • Follows standard work processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools to meet the requirements of the customer.
                  • Proposes and implements enhancements and automation that will improve the performance and reliability of the system, coding or project.
                    • Work with internal and external customers to continually improve our data management offerings and provide current solutions to meet our client's needs.
                      • Clearly communicates on key developments keeping all stakeholders informed.
                        • Assist team members with trouble shooting and issues as needed.
                          • Meet varying time schedules and have flexible scheduling capability.
                            • Follow all department Standard Work Documents, Department Standards, and Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
                              • May lead other team members.You Must Have:
                                • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education related/relevant professional work experience
                                  • 5+ years of experience programming and/or data base management experience
                                    • Requires advanced knowledge of variable data programs such as Quadient Inspire, HP Dialogue and/or XMPie
                                      • Requires advanced knowledge of postal software programs, such as Satori or BCC
                                        • Understanding of data table structure, issues, design, and file management capabilities utilizing Microsoft SQL
                                          • Ability to understand and implement technical methodologies to leverage efficiencies in all production areas; i.e.; 2D barcode, document sets and control
                                            • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and to effectively interact with internal and external customers
                                              • Ability to problem solve, follow-up, and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals
                                                • Requires knowledge of domestic mail manual rates and regulations, especially at higher levels;duties are varied and complex; ability to apply a broad knowledge of principles, practice, and procedures of particular field of USPS mailing and USPS shipping
