Documentation Manufacturing Engineer Role

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a skilled Documentation Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity that offers a collaborative work environment and the chance to work on exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review technical documentation packages to determine the necessary documentation for each project phase, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate customers' engineering documents with current revisions to ensure manufacturing specifications meet customer contract requirements.
  • Process and incorporate customers' change orders and new releases, releasing updated documents, drawings, and bills of materials into our MRP system.
  • Create ECO documents in the manufacturing system.
  • Develop As-Built Configurations for electronic assemblies, including part numbers, revision letters, and serial numbers.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and test engineers, and product managers to create and maintain build-to-print electromechanical manufacturing process documentation for complex products or systems.
  • Write and edit technical specifications and other documentation materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
  • Develop diagrams, illustrations, and other visual aids to describe the manufacturing process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, engineering, or a related field.
  • Three years of related electronic manufacturing experience and/or related experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills with demonstrated experience creating technical documentation for complex manufactured products or systems.
  • Proficiency in document management and publishing tools or Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
