Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Manage the scheduling teams to optimize performance, quality, and resource utilization.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance of team members, including reviews, corrective action, mentoring, and performance improvement plans.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and oversee financial collections of procedure patients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct department audits to maintain consistency in the scheduling and authorization process.
  • Training and Development: Supervise, train, and orient staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Stay up-to-date with payer requirements and industry changes, providing training and oversight to staff to ensure compliance.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate patient registration and processing.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of experience in a supervisory, management, or leadership role, with a proven track record of success in patient access and scheduling operations.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Environment: Combination of exam rooms and medical offices, with frequent exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Requires sitting, standing, and manual dexterity, with the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
