Job Title: Patient Access Supervisor

About the Role:
Soleo Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to support our Home Infusion Specialty Pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will provide day-to-day oversight of the Patient Access team, ensuring the efficient and effective management of patient access processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support and guidance to direct reports, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles.
  • Oversee and conduct team staffing, coaching, accountability, annual reviews, and performance improvement plans to ensure the team is working at optimal levels.
  • Evaluate workload and adjust staffing to fit program needs by assigning referrals and delegating tasks to team members.
  • Assist with workload tasks such as benefit verification, prior authorization, reauthorization/reverification, and patient calls to ensure turnaround times are met.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for calls requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve customer issues.
  • Conduct candidate sourcing, interviews, hiring, and onboarding to ensure the team has the necessary talent to succeed.
  • Facilitate intradepartmental communications to national intake and branch staff to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Analyze referral trends, new products, specialty product shortages, and access solutions to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional workgroups, teams, and committees as assigned to drive business results and improve processes.
  • Complete all required duties, projects, and reports in a timely fashion on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis per the direction of leadership.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years of home infusion pharmacy experience required.
  • At least 3 years of experience applying knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement guidelines.
  • Previous healthcare management experience required.
  • Previous medical and pharmacy benefit experience required.
  • Ability to interpret payor contract fee schedules based on NDC and HCPCS units.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities within a changing environment.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word.
