We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant District Manager to join our team at Servicon. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple client sites across Southern California and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain high standards of work at multiple sites, developing and implementing policies and procedures as needed.
- Ensure contracted services are delivered to client specifications and serve as the primary point of escalation for client questions and concerns.
- Lead contract renegotiations and identify new service opportunities to drive business growth.
- Mentor, train, and coach team members, leading and participating in team project initiatives.
- Produce metrics and reports to track team performance and ensure site staff is properly equipped and trained.
- Recruit and select candidates for site positions, including conducting interviews and providing feedback.
- Develop and guide employees, addressing employee relations issues and escalating concerns to HR as needed.
- Confirm payroll processes are completed for the portfolio, including reviewing and approving timesheets and running timekeeping reports.
- Communicate and articulate safety and job-related training to service team members and managers.
- Develop metrics for portfolio supply inventory to inform budgeting and client contract negotiations.
- Build cross-functional department relationships to execute company strategy and stay abreast of industry standards related to cleaning techniques, supplies, and tools.
- 5+ years of management-level experience in a service-related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and maintain a consistent level of quality.
- Familiarity with technology and timekeeping systems, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to run relevant data and derive relevant inferences.
- Bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Experience working with unions and union team members (preferred).
- Knowledge of commercial, healthcare, or aerospace industry standards (preferred).
- Ability to stand on feet for four to six hours at a time.
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally for work purposes.
