Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Accounting Analyst to join our team at Subaru. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger activity, balancing accounts, and preparing monthly reporting for regional management review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the General Ledger activity, balancing all G&A accounts, FOPs Promo, Marketing Support, Regional Dealer Fund (RDF), Selling Expense/Promotions/Sales Training, Internal account, and To Be Billed accounts.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for regional management review, for several regional departments, and zone offices, maintaining the yearly budget.
  • Audit all miscellaneous Debit/Credits to ensure accurate and timely entries to retailer statements.
  • Audit all regional and zone employee expense reports and all regional vendor payables before processing the invoices into the Oracle I-Expense System.
  • Support the regional retailer body, answering all questions regarding parts statement billings, credits, and incentives as seen on Subaru net.
  • Support zone and regional activity, including but not limited to dealer questions, supplies, and other zone activities pertaining to Payables, Receivables, accruals, reclasses, expense Reporting, and budget concerns.
  • Serve as a liaison between the zone offices and many departments at the corporate office, such as Accounting, Facilities, and Finance.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Coordinate record retention and document destruction for the region. Experience with Facility management for applicable Regional Sales Office (RSO).
  • Coordinate the state manufacturer and business licenses, and vehicle plating processes to include all states in the region territory.
  • Track and record Certificate of Insurance for vendors.
  • Track and record regional contributions for non-profits.
  • Stock and maintain office supplies for Sales/Administration office.
Requirements
  • Strong accounting, budget, and financial analysis expertise.
  • Strong organization and time management skills; successful at handling multiple priorities.
  • Experience with process planning and management.
  • Self-starter and works independently.
  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Internet, Subarunet, Subaru Oracle Financials, Qlik, and I-Expense.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comprehensive telephone skills, effectively listens and recognizes the value of others' perception.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills; respectful, positive, and professional demeanor, team player, good negotiator, open to exchanging and discussing ideas.
  • Strong customer focus skills; customer first, ethical, positive/productive relationships.

Education/Experience Requirements

4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 4-6 years' experience.

Work Environment
  • Required Travel: 5% (may travel to Zone office or retailers)
  • Lift up to 50+ lbs
Compensation

The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $79,700 per year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
