KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily functions of the accounting division, including:
  • Month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Management of accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Handle cash receipts and general ledger entries
  • Process payroll and utility payments
  • Analyze revenue and expenditures
  • Reconcile capital assets and fixed asset activities
  • Monitor debt activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience; CPA designation is preferred
  • Familiarity with fundamental accounting principles and GAAP
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in accounting software, with QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Professional demeanor and presentation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with various levels of staff
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must successfully complete all preliminary employment screenings (including background checks and drug tests)
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
