Job Description

As an Assistant Property Manager at Jackson Properties, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our properties. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service to tenants, vendors, and property owners, as well as coordinating maintenance tasks, scheduling vendor services, and processing lease applications.

  • Provide phone and email support to tenants, vendors, and property owners.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks, including entering work order requests and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and schedule vendor services, draft vendor contracts, and obtain bids for recurring services.
  • Process and package prospective tenant lease applications and financial information for senior review.
  • Field incoming inquiries from prospective tenants, schedule tours, and pass on to property managers to follow.
  • Contact tenants regarding lease renewals and pass on to property managers to follow.
  • Draft lease documents, exhibits, and addendums for all lease types.
  • Draft proposals, letters, and other property management correspondence.
  • Process property budgets and operating expense reconciliation invoices.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to build relationships, solicit customer feedback to improve service, meet commitments, and elevate customer requests, complaints, and concerns as necessary.

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent; or at least one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to use professional business language, speak clearly and persuasively, listen, and obtain clarification. Ability to respond well to questions and participate in meetings. Strong ability to respond to phone calls and return communications promptly.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: MS Office and Adobe PDF.
