Position: Senior Superintendent for Commercial Developments

Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned Senior Superintendent to lead and manage intricate commercial construction projects, particularly in the retail and light industrial sectors, with a minimum project budget of $10 million. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role, demonstrating a successful history of delivering large-scale projects on schedule and within financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all on-site construction operations for projects valued at $10 million or more.
  • Establish and execute project timelines, ensuring all construction phases are completed promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards and building regulations.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations to assess progress and address any issues or modifications in project scope.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, providing updates on project developments and addressing any inquiries.
  • Quickly and effectively resolve any on-site conflicts or challenges that arise.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent in the commercial construction field, with a focus on projects exceeding $10 million.
  • Experience in retail and light industrial construction is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret and analyze construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
