Position: Senior Superintendent for Commercial Developments

Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned Senior Superintendent to manage and oversee intricate commercial projects, particularly in retail and light industrial sectors, with a minimum project budget of $10 million. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role and a solid history of delivering large-scale projects efficiently and within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise all on-site construction operations for projects valued at $10 million or more.
  • Establish and execute project timelines, ensuring all construction phases are completed punctually.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to foster effective communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards and building regulations.
  • Conduct frequent site evaluations to track progress and address any challenges or modifications in project scope.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, providing regular updates on project developments and addressing any inquiries.
  • Proactively resolve on-site conflicts or challenges in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and keep precise project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction, specifically managing projects with budgets of $10 million or more.
  • Experience in retail and light industrial construction is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret and analyze construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
