Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal hygiene assistance to residents.
  • Support residents with daily living tasks and ensure their comfort.
  • Conduct vital sign monitoring and assist with specimen collection.
  • Help orient new staff members.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both residents and colleagues.
  • Facilitate the transportation of residents and necessary equipment.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and communicate observations to the supervising nurse.
  • Provide reassurance to residents through skilled and compassionate care.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Iowa Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification.
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent.
  • Clear background checks.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
