Position Overview:
Your primary responsibility will be to create a secure atmosphere, provide emotional and social support, and address the physical needs and comfort of our residents. You will deliver direct care as assigned, adhering to the resident's care plan and following the guidance of your Supervisor. Additional duties may be assigned by community representatives. Compliance with all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols is essential, along with maintaining the standards of practice established by our administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing according to state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum age of 18 years (16 years old candidates must be currently enrolled in high school).
- Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrated capability to execute both verbal and written directives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- Able to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
- Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours as per position requirements.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
