EmPATH Master's Level Program Coordinator Job Description

The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking a skilled Master's Level Program Coordinator to join our EmPATH team. As a key member of our crisis intervention services, you will play a vital role in providing short-term treatment and stabilization to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

About the Role:

  • This position requires a master's degree in a health-related field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work, with experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring diagnoses.
  • You will be responsible for administrative tasks, including reports, scheduling, and training, as well as clinical responsibilities like on-call and clinical direction.
  • As a supervisor, you will oversee designated employees and provide regular clinical supervision to ensure high-quality care and treatment.
  • Facilitate referral-related activities to link clients with needed services and follow up on clinical directives to ensure client treatment is being rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete documentation of client care in compliance with policy and procedure.
  • Ensure clinically appropriate activities are occurring with each client in EMPATH based on individual need.
  • Provide direction to front-line staff to ensure that clients are being provided quality care and treatment.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in a health-related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring diagnoses.
  • Certification in verbal de-escalation techniques and ability to adequately implement them.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for conducting Center business.
