Position Summary
The Remote Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial role in our business's growth and success. The primary responsibility of a CSR is to assist customers with a variety of inquiries, including general questions, product details, billing issues, and other concerns. Candidates must exhibit a strong dedication to delivering an exceptional customer service experience.
Work Environment: Remote
Schedule: Monday - Friday, with availability required between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm Central Time.
Training: Initial training will be conducted from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Central Time for the first few weeks.
Compensation: $17.23 per hour (dependent on geographic location), with a potential bonus of $500 per month based on performance.
Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, prescription, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, paid vacation, and paid time off, among others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls from residential and commercial clients, aiming to provide outstanding customer service while addressing their needs and concerns.
- Handle challenging customer interactions with professionalism and courtesy.
- Accurately document customer information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system based on their inquiries.
- Communicate company policies effectively and offer creative solutions to resolve customer issues, such as billing discrepancies.
- Exhibit strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to address customer needs promptly.
- Meet monthly sales and product education targets by recommending items from our healthy hydration portfolio.
- Utilize negotiation skills to present alternative solutions to customer issues and take proactive steps to retain clients.
Essential Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of one year of prior customer service or call center experience.
- Experience with live chat and customer retention is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated business maturity and the capacity to work independently without on-site supervision.
- A designated workspace at home suitable for a Home Agent workstation.
- A distraction-free work environment, ensuring no background noise that could affect customer interactions.
- Maintaining a tidy workspace to safeguard confidential customer information.
- Prior experience in setting up and troubleshooting remote workstations (computer, phone, modem, router, etc.) is preferred.
- Must have a reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 100 mbps and upload speed of 15 mbps (Cable, DSL, or Fiber Optic/FiOS only; satellite internet is not permitted).
- Your device must be connected directly to the router/modem via Ethernet cable; wireless connections are not acceptable.
- Must be able to certify compliance with internet speed and connection requirements.
