We are seeking a motivated Radiology Intervention Specialist to contribute to our mission.
Job Responsibilities and QualificationsIn the role of Radiology Intervention Specialist, you will support physicians during minimally invasive procedures and provide diagnostic assistance by utilizing fluoroscopic equipment to perform patient scans in accordance with established protocols. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness of the procedure room and surrounding areas.
- Delivering patient care with professionalism and courtesy, including explaining procedures to patients and conducting physical assessments of IVs, catheters, and tubing.
- Assisting the radiologist in the intravenous administration of medications and contrast agents.
- Maintaining sterile techniques throughout Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Conducting real-time evaluations of scans for technical precision (including quality, anatomical positioning, and annotations).
- Completing the verification process in PACS promptly.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.
- Proficiency in performing Interventional Procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage effectively within a service line environment.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
