Role Overview:

The Assistant Program Manager (APM) acts on behalf of the Contractor in the absence of the Program Manager (PM), providing adjudication support to Federal Adjudicators for suitability and national security recommendations, adhering to relevant Executive Orders, U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, and established policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the PM in daily operations and serve as a liaison with SecD UC.
  • Assume PM responsibilities during their absence or when the position is temporarily vacant.
  • Assist in managing and overseeing the program's administrative and daily operations.
  • Act as an assistant to the lead on the BPA and as the intermediary between the Government and the Contractor.
  • Facilitate effective communication and proactively identify and resolve issues within the Contractor's team and between the Contractor and various Government clients.
  • Participate in regular meetings with Government clients to discuss workload, contract performance, and emerging issues.
  • Generate required contractual and programmatic reports.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure services and products are delivered on budget and schedule as per BPA and SOW requirements.
  • Oversee project personnel and ensure timely delivery of reports and other documentation.
  • Develop and enforce work plans to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with Government clients regarding work schedules.
  • Review and address work discrepancies.
  • Supervise Contractor personnel and communicate organizational policies and goals.
  • Ensure contract performance is met.
  • Track incoming Contractor personnel and provide weekly status reports to Government clients regarding processing issues.
  • Coordinate manpower and resources, ensuring quality control programs are effectively implemented.

Qualifications:

  • Current TS security clearance with the capability to obtain SCI access, including passing a security CI polygraph exam.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of Federal Law Enforcement experience, with ten (10) years of experience in managing tasks and supervising personnel, including human resources and personnel security.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • At least five (5) years of experience related to managing or executing responsibilities similar to those outlined herein and in the SOW.
  • Prior experience as a federal employee for the FBI is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience with the FBI.
  • Experience in security management.
  • Background in performance management.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and developing KPIs/Metrics.
  • Advanced degree in any field is preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Ability to work remotely as needed, subject to Program Manager approval.
  • Flexibility to work alternate and/or flexible schedules, pending Program Manager approval.
