Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of the FBI Security Program by overseeing complex security assessment investigations.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and analyses, both internally and externally, to assess personnel security risks.
  • Provide insightful research and analysis on intricate security matters.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations utilizing critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with FBI Field Offices to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Perform extensive checks and reviews of FBI indices and related materials to evaluate potential security threats.
  • Summarize findings and compose correspondence for initiating investigations.
  • Recommend polygraph examinations based on comprehensive data analysis.
  • Maintain effective communication with various FBI divisions and other agency officials.
  • Advise on new methods for enhancing security clearance processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in personnel security investigations or analysis.
  • Proficient in conducting database checks and interpreting credit reports.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify security vulnerabilities and investigative leads.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications and internet research.
  • Current TS security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access, including passing a security CI polygraph exam.
