Position Summary

The Accounting Manager is primarily tasked with the preparation of financial statements and comprehensive reporting packages. This role involves overseeing the management of balance sheet accounts, profit and loss accounts, and conducting in-depth financial analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards
    • Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including the month-end closing process
    • Manage balance sheet account schedules and perform reconciliations
    • Analyze financial results and identify areas for enhancement
    • Oversee inter-company accounting transactions and reconciliations
    • Develop and enforce accounting policies to ensure adherence to GAAP and IFRS
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and recommend policy adjustments as necessary
    • Coordinate the annual audit process, including preparation of necessary documentation
    • Maintain compliance with audit requirements and document findings
    • Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary support
    • Document processes to ensure compliance with SOX regulations
    • Implement controls to uphold SOX compliance
    • Manage fixed asset and lease accounting processes
    • Enhance efficiency in fixed asset and lease accounting
  • Lead the accounting team by providing guidance and support
    • Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation
    • Supervise a team of accounting professionals, including recruitment and performance management
    • Maintain general ledger accounts within the ERP system
    • Ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities
  • Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems
    • Document policies and workflows for assigned responsibilities
    • Contribute to special projects as needed
    • Assist in the development of accounting policies and operational strategies
Compensation

$101,000 - $113,000 annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications
