We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Editorial Department as an intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research, writing, and editing, while contributing to the production of Foreign Affairs magazine.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and commission articles for publication
  • Update archival content on our website
  • Assist with social media promotion and newsletter layout
  • Copy edit and fact-check articles
  • Stage articles for publication
  • Attend Council meetings as time permits
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate student with a concentration in political science, international affairs, journalism, or a related field
  • Completed the equivalent of four semesters of college coursework (not including AP classes in high school)
  • Demonstrated interest in journalism and online publishing; past relevant internship experience preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and Internet skills
  • Knowledge of Drupal is a plus
