About the Role

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and the environment. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing safety strategies, conducting risk assessments, and providing training and support to our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety risks.
  • Provide training and support to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our business.
  • Develop and maintain safety metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in safety and occupational health.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or OHST.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in manufacturing or high-hazard environments.
Work Environment and Travel Requirements
  • Hybrid work arrangement with frequent travel up to 50% to support operations in the field.
