Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Care Specialist to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing primary ophthalmic care to patients and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary ophthalmic care to patients, including preparing them for examinations and procedures.
- Assist physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
- Perform routine vision screening examinations, including refraction, visual field testing, and other sub-specialty tests.
- Administer eye medications and maintain accurate records of patient information.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year experience in ophthalmology preferred.
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Physical Demands
