Senior Patient Services Coordinator

Position Overview
This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient patient flow within the clinic environment.
The incumbent will act as the primary liaison for patients, handling appointment scheduling, preparing essential documentation prior to patient visits, welcoming patients, and maintaining accurate records.
Additionally, this position may involve managing billing for clinic services, submitting insurance claims, addressing inquiries from patients and insurance providers, and keeping pertinent departmental information organized.
Responsibilities may also include cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
Managing multi-line phone systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, familiarity with electronic health record systems, reconciling payments, overseeing collections, and coordinating schedules for multiple providers. The individual will collaborate closely with the Patient Services Supervisor to serve as the primary contact within the clinic.
Qualifications Required
A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, office administration, or a related field is required, with at least 2 years in a healthcare environment preferred. Additional educational qualifications may be considered in lieu of experience.
