We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's front office.
Key Responsibilities- Front Office Operations: Greet patients and visitors, manage the lobby area, and provide excellent customer service.
- Insurance and Registration: Obtain and verify patient insurance information, collect deposits, and assemble patient charts.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Enter patient information into our computer system, ensure accurate and complete data, and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and communicate with patients, staff, and surgeons in a professional and courteous manner.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Office Manager and other staff members to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in secretarial work, admitting, or insurance.
