Technical Field Service Representative

Bluewater Hayes Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Field Service Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for installing cutting-edge machinery and providing expert assistance to resolve customer issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and set up company machinery in accordance with contractual obligations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Provide operation instructions and start-up services for all equipment, ensuring customers are fully equipped to utilize their new machinery.
  • Document work performed, encountered problems, and customer feedback promptly, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Sales Engineer to address customer dissatisfaction and suggest product improvements, driving continuous growth and improvement.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, resolving equipment issues and recommending troubleshooting approaches, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Train personnel and customers on equipment operation, adjustments, and maintenance procedures, promoting knowledge sharing and expertise.
  • Maintain and demonstrate equipment functionality, supporting customer presentations and demonstrations as needed, showcasing our products' capabilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest installation and maintenance techniques, assisting vendor technicians and other installers, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of industry knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical fields.
  • Completion of a Field Service training program, showcasing expertise in installation and maintenance procedures.
  • Prior experience in N/C or P/C service/maintenance or maintenance/operation, highlighting a proven track record of success.
  • Valid driver's license, ensuring the ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications, showcasing technical skills and ability to work efficiently.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, ensuring the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adjust to new situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring effective collaboration and customer engagement.
  • Self-starter and self-reliant, showcasing independence and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, ensuring the ability to resolve complex issues and provide innovative solutions.

Work Environment:

  • Customer sites, involving travel by automobile and/or airplane, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
