Position Overview:

The Field Application Specialist will report directly to the National Manager and will be tasked with addressing the technical needs in the field for our Advanced Waterproofing product line within the Henry BES West region. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective application of our products through mobilization, maintenance, and training of our customer base on the operation of our polyurea equipment fleet. The specialist will work in a highly esteemed product environment, collaborating closely with sales leadership, sales support, technical teams, and marketing to meet both sales and technical goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly in segments that align with our product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the entire sales and technical team to ensure successful execution of product applications.
  • Manage core product programs alongside our equipment distributor partners and customer base.
  • Provide technical field support for ongoing core product projects.
  • Engage with the technical team to contribute to the Carlisle training platform.
  • Organize routine maintenance and management of company equipment inventory.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Train and certify installers on proper application techniques for Henry's spray polyurea and other AWP products.
  • Evaluate and train new technicians.
  • Conduct Product Knowledge training sessions for general contractors and installers.
  • Gather and report market intelligence regarding products, programs, shipping, and market segments.
  • Work with other company personnel as needed to provide technical assistance, training, project initiation, dealer support, contractor support, and problem resolution.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of the mechanics and electrical operations of spray equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across various levels.
  • Innovative and solution-oriented thinking capabilities.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, intuition, and reasoning abilities.
  • High energy, self-directed, and professionally confident.
  • Approachable and collaborative, demonstrating appropriate business acumen.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively, including travel and meeting arrangements.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or, alternatively, a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
