Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Discover and qualify business opportunities to sell product and service-based IT solutions.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships and build trust with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Value Propositions: Leverage industry trends and come up with compelling value propositions to address clients' needs, wants, and desires.
- Client Management: Manage day-to-day client needs, reporting progress to the VP of Sales, and identifying new business opportunities across the clients' full range of operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Remain current on the latest technology initiatives and solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience selling IT hardware products and services, telecom, or other.
- Client Base: Having an established client base in the New York and surrounding area is a major plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Must have strong knowledge of network security, data center solutions, hybrid cloud, managed print, Voice over IP, and a willingness to learn emerging technologies.
- Soft Skills: Must have a team player attitude while inspiring confidence amongst the executive leadership team, colleagues, and client partners.
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills; you are comfortable at presenting ideas to large groups.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Solid problem-solving and consultative solutions-selling skills.
- Personal Qualities: Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Aptitude: Technical aptitude and knowledge is important along with the ability to translate the complexities.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Compensation: Unlimited earning potential with no cap on commission.
